The chic and contemporary 90024 Sugar Bowl was designed for the prominent, Italian producer Alessi by the multi-award winning architect and designer Aldo Rossi.
Born in Milan in 1931, Rossi studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic and in 1959 founded his own architectural practice. Although Rossi continued to lead architectural projects, he also taught at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura and the Milan Polytechnic. Architect, teacher and published author, Rossi also received international acclaim for several of his projects, including the Cemetery of San Cataldo and the Gallaratese Housing Project. Additionally, in 1979 Rossi designed a floating theatre, the Teatro del Mondo.
Constructed from highly polished and durable stainless steel, the 90024 Sugar Bowl is an eye-catching and distinctive kitchen utensil. The sugar bowl features a lift-off lid and sugar spoon to complete the set. Although designed in the 1980's, this lovely item sits well in contemporary kitchens. Due to the materials used to create the product, the 90024 Sugar Bowl is easily cleaned and maintained, ensuring it will remain in peak condition for many years to come.
