The fetching Type 75 Mini Desk Lamp is the creation of designer Sir Kenneth Grange for iconic British brand, Anglepoise.

Established as Herbert Terry and Sons Ltd. in 1855, the family-owned brand first started manufacturing springs and presswork for the automotive industry. Today the brand is renowned for its unique series of practical, energy-efficient task lamps for both domestic and commercial spaces. The brand name comes from the first four-spring lamp created by automotive engineer, George Carwardine in 1933 using the brand's constant tension spring technology. A 1935 collaboration between Carwardine and the brand's designers produced a domestic market ready version of the lamp, the archetypal Anglepoise Original 1227.

TheType 75 Mini Desk Lamp is a reinterpretation of the Aspex 90 luminaire. The Type 75 Mini is a more compact, scaled-down, lively, and colourful version of the Type 75. Fitted with swivelling, height-adjustable aluminium arms with chrome-plated fittings, aluminium shade, and a cast iron base with aluminium cover, this mini offers all the functionality of the Type 75. Standing 50cm high with a diameter of 17cm, and shade height of 15cm, the lamp was specifically designed for small spaces.
