From minimalist to opulent: deMajo lights, with their diverse design made of crystal glass, are able to meet many of the requirements of modern lighting. The Italian company was founded in 1947 by Guido de Majo in Murano. The island has been known for its unique glass artwork for centuries. Since the 1970s, deMajo has driven the development of sophisticated, stylish lamps made of glass.
deMajo lamps exemplify the proven expertise of Murano glass and excellent workmanship. The label’s designer lamps adorn even the world famous La Scala in Milan! Yet, for all the tradition also comes innovative design. Characteristic of the Italian design lighting is its mix of glass and metal in graphical representation.
DeMajo is known for its exceptional design lamps from the collection Otto x Otto, which Francesco dei Rossi designed. Both the Otto x Otto S1 pendant light and the Otto x Otto S8 ceiling lamp are equipped with a lampshade made of crystal whose plates are adjustable at will, thus enabling individual lighting!
For an optical eye-catcher, designed by Nicola Grandesso see design lamp Babol. The white satin glass balls seem to float and are available in various sizes from deMajo as a ceiling lamp, pendant lamp ortable lamp with a delicately crafted metal bracket.
If you appreciate linear design lights from Italy, you will be amazed by the clear design of Tau A wall lights and Ishi from deMajo. In these deMajo lamps a flat glass body encounters brushed stainless steel and provides indirect light. A simple, yet effective collection! /p>
