The Sol Side Table Parsol Glass has been created by OrtegaGuijarro Studio for the brand ClassiCon. The Berlin and Barcelona-based studio was founded by Spanish industrial designer and interior designer Carlos Guijarro and Alex Ortega. Guided by curiosity and technical innovation, the duo creates pieces that have simple and striking poetic aesthetics. The Sol Side Table Parsol Glass is a perfect example of this. It is made of parsol glass in bronze or grey or crystal glass that has a royal blue inlay. The design of the table is a pattern of square pieces of glass panels with rounded corners juxtaposed against each other. It is simple and complex at the same time and a show of its designers' talent. Positioning the panels the way they have done so creates an interesting play of light and shadows that keeps changing the silhouette of the table in a way that tricks the eyes.
