Product description

The Costes Armchair has been created by Philippe Starck for the brand Driade. It uses a combination of materials, colours and textures to create an unusual aesthetic. It also makes use of arches and curves to add timeless elegance.

The Costes Armchair has a curved wooden shell. Made of mahogany and plywood, it is curved from one end of the chair to the other. It is a single shell with no joints or fasteners and its edges are clean and unfinished which elevates the aesthetic of simple elegance. The wooden backrest and armrests are supported by tubular bars that make up the front and back legs. The shell is reinforced with bars at the back of the backrest and underneath the seat. The seat cushion is well-padded with polyurethane foam padding with differentiated density. It is covered by upholstery which has been done in premium quality leather.

The Costes Armchair has a width of 47.5cm, a height of 80cm and a depth of 58cm. Its seat height is 47cm and its backrest height is 80cm. It is available in a single dark colour or with a natural mahogany backrest and dark frame. It will not only provide optimal comfort but also add a look of sophistication to any space.
