Bellboy Battery Light

The Bellboy Battery Light has been created by Fatboy for the brand Fatboy. This innovative portable lamp gets its name and design from the bellboy bell found at hotel reception desks. It can safely be used indoors and outdoors including by the pool and covered outdoor spaces like balconies.

The Bellboy Battery Light has a shade made of steel and a bottom made of polypropylene which is weatherproof. The foot it stands on is made of aluminium which is also treated to withstand the elements. The lamp has the shape of an inverted round bowl and a small raised cap in the middle that mimics the bellboy bell. This is a switch that turns on the lamp's warm LED light. Pressing it a little longer will dim it. The shade is supported by a stem made of coiled steel which in turn is supported by a round base that is made of aluminium and finished to match the shade. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable battery. The battery is in the cap. It is charged via the base using a USB-A to Pogo pin cable that is included. Running on a battery eliminates cables and the need for a socket which makes it possible to take it anywhere. It runs on two lithium batteries that take three hours to charge fully. Its light lasts for up to nine hours at full intensity and more than 90 at the lowest setting.

The Bellboy Battery Light has a height of 30cm and a diameter of 18cm. Its cable is 150cm long. It is available in a selection of neutral, bright and pastel shades.
