Oblique Bench

The Oblique Bench has been created by the in-house studio at the brand ferm LIVING. ferm LIVING is a Danish brand with a global fan base which offers a broad collection reflecting Nordic design traditions and diverse contributions from artisans around the world. The Oblique Bench displays this diversity, cleverly blending Japanese and Scandinavian woodworking techniques.

This indoor furnishing has a low back and a seat that extends just a bit over the edges, adding definition to the product's form. The seat is supported by slats of wood on either side of the bench and these slats have been deliberately placed 'oblique' angles - a design feature that gave the bench its name. The frame is made of solid oak that has been FSC®™-certified and the material has received a natural oiled finish that leaves the warm tones of the wood on show.

The Oblique Bench has a width of 120cm, a height of 33cm and a depth of 40cm. It can be used in a number of different ways such as an entryway bench, a display for books and entertainment media or as a side table that holds a potted plant, flowers in a vase or other decorative items.
