B619 Super Eliptical Extension Table Veneer

The B619 Super Eliptical Extension Table Veneer has been created by Arne Jacobsen, Piet Hein and Bruno Mathsson for the brand Fritz Hansen. Inspired by Hein's own work in planning the roundabouts of post-war Stockholm's traffic system, the Super Eliptical table is a wonderful place to share meals with family and will also serve as a space for work meetings.

The B619 Super Eliptical Extension Table Veneer is so-called due to its form, which resembles an extended oval shape. This tabletop is made from walnut veneer with a veneer edge. This rests on top of a four-legged steel base which features slender struts that fan out to provide support for the upper surface.

The B619 Super Eliptical Extension Table Veneer has a height of 72cm and is 120cm wide. The length can vary depending on which setting is chosen. In its basic mode, the table measures 180cm long. However, it can extend to 300cm thanks to a simple and highly stable fold-out mechanism, making the table exceptionally versatile. When fully extended, the B619 Super Eliptical Extension Table Veneer effectively converts from a 6 to a 12 seater. This makes it useful for compact spaces, but it will also be great for entertaining friends when party numbers increase.
