Neu 10 Swivel Chair

The Neu 10 Swivel Chair has been created by the in-house studio for the brand HAY. Ergonomic and beautifully sculpted, Neu fuses comfort and aesthetics in an appealing package. Versatile and durable, it will be a suitable option for home studies and professional offices alike.

The Neu 10 Swivel Chair scores highly with its moulded shell, which flows naturally into the clearly defined cross-shaped base, creating a visually attractive, unified look. The shell is made from moulded polypropylene plastic and has been shaped to accommodate sitters in complete comfort. It also has a slightly raised edge which defines the chair effectively and accentuates its sculpted curves. Underneath, HAY have added an aluminium base and both base and shell are finished in the same black tone, completing the harmonious and balanced look.

The Neu 10 Swivel Chair rotates through 360 degrees, providing complete freedom for office work and social events. It has a height of 82cm, while the seat measures 46cm wide and 52.5cm deep and is situated 46cm above the ground. The shell thickness also varies slightly between 0.7cm and 1.5cm, adding extra support where needed. As a result, the chair is strong but supremely comfortable - ideal for long periods of work and play.
