The customisable New Order Shelf/Wardrobe 100x185.5cm was designed by Stefan Diez for the furniture company HAY in 2012.

HAY is a contemporary and innovative furniture design company located in Denmark, and it uses the services of the most talented designers. Stefan Diez is a German designer who studied at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart before starting his noteworthy career.

In designing the New Order Shelf/Wardrobe 100x185.5cm for HAY, Diez used an innovative plug-in system that requires no screws. The profile and shelves of the product are made from aluminium, while the doors, side and back panels are wooden. The shelves and panels can be inserted to suit your needs using movable hinges and clips. The New Order Shelf/Wardrobe 100x185.5cm can be used as a stand-alone unit or with more than one unit mounted side by side as a room divider in the living room or office. The innovative product provides plenty of storage and shelving space for books, ornaments or files. It can be set up in a portrait or landscape position, giving a variety of options. The measurements are 100 x 185.5 cm.
