This stylish VL Ring Crown 1 Suspension Lamp was created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the label Louis Poulsen.

Vilhelm Lauritzen 1895-1985 was a significant and influential Danish architect. His  lighting work can be seen in the Radiohuset and in the first airport to be built in Kastrup. The first light fitting he designed was manufactured in 1926-29 and named the universal pendant.

Vilhelm Lauritzen's commitment to developing and improving his light fixtures resulted in the creation of the VL Ring Crown 1 Suspension Lamp among many other luminaires. The VL Ring Crown 1 Suspension Lamp produces strongly directed light resulting in sharp shadows which diffuse the light, thus softening the ambiance of the room. The durability of this product is guaranteed as it is made of hand-blown opal glass and brass. Weighing 1.2kg, the lamp measures 34.2cm in height, 19cm in diameter, and has a cable length of 400cm. Its light includes a high-efficiency grade A halogen bulb. This suspension lamp is compatible with bulbs of the A++  energy class. This lamp will bring a luminous vitality to your environment due to its attractive appearance.
