The Tibu Bar Stool 60-77cm was designed by Norwegian designers Anderssen & Voll for the Magis label, and it's a classic piece of contemporary seating.
The Italian company tasked the pair with creating a futuristic new spin on the conventional bar stool, and they have obviously succeeded.
The stool stands between 60 and 77 cm tall, depending on the setting chosen by the user, and has a gas-operated pump that alters the elevation as desired. By flicking an easy-to-reach release button, the sitter can engage the gas lift and achieve the ideal height - a neat design feature that makes the Tibu Bar Stool 60-77cm extremely user-friendly.
The bar stool is comprised of two steel discs linked by a tubular column, with a footrest placed a few inches off the floor. The steel has been coated with an epoxy resin, giving it a smooth, shiny appearance, while the 37 cm-wide seat is made from polyurethane plastic formed into a rounded, comfortable shape. This Magis stool will really make an impact on guests wherever it is used and would add a dash of style to breakfast bars, dining rooms or bedrooms.
