Prop Light Round LED Suspension lamp

The Prop Light Round LED Suspension Lamp was designed by Bertjan Pot for Moooi.

Pot is a Dutch designer who is driven by curiosity. His starting point is often "how would this work?" or "how would this look?". From his experimentation with materials and construction, the designs naturally come to fruition. This organic approach to design is reflected in his often busy pieces, full of details and colour. Moooi specialises in modern furniture, lighting and accessories. The emphasis is on long-lasting pieces which are unique and always feature an element of fun. The relatively young design company has quickly become a global success, with showrooms in London and New York.

The Prop Light Round LED Suspension Lamp is a masterpiece of design, featuring a breathtaking 48 or 96 bulbs. This unique lamp appears to be a cross between film set lighting and something from outer space. Light radiates from both sides of the disc-shaped lamp in the double version, while the single version has bulbs on just one side. There is also a vertical model available, which adds a new dimension to lighting a room.

The lamps are constructed from plastic, glass and PMMA, with a HIPS housing.
