The Block Shelf has been created by Simon Legald for the brandNormann Copenhagen. Normann Copenhagen has become known for pushing the envelope with innovative designs made for contemporary living. It is the brainchild of Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen, who share a common passion and mission to challenge conventional design by using traditional materials in new ways.

Creating something new out of something old was certainly the goal with the Block Shelf. It turns what could have been an ordinary shelf or trolley into something modern, stylish and more useful. It is no wonder that this shelf has long been the best-selling mobile side table. Designer Legald aimed to upgrade the classic trolley table. He did it beautifully and created a versatile piece of furniture with open shelves that can be used in any part of the home. It is compact, measuring 50cm wide, 35cm deep and 87cm high. It can be used as a serving trolley, side table, bedside table, in a bathroom or in a child's bedroom or playroom. It is made of stainless steel, making it strong, stable and durable. With its open shelves and compact size, the Block Shelf can be placed anywhere and easily moved around when necessary.
