Alley Wool Rug

The Alley Wool Rug has been created by ferm LIVIN G for the ferm LIVING. A rug pulls the look of a room together and brings warmth and softness underfoot. This one does more; it adds texture too. This is thanks to the tufted pattern. It displays and fringes on the sides.

The Alley Wool Rug is a handwoven Kilim rug. It is created by interweaving the warp strands that are attached to a loom with wefts. This technique makes it possible to use yarn of different styles and thicknesses. This is how the abstract pattern of contrasting colours is achieved as well as the pile on this rug. It is made of our New Zealand wool which is known for its high quality. Rugs woven with this technique are very strong and durable so you can be sure this one will last you a long time.

The Alley Wool Rug is available in two sizes. The smaller one has a width of 140cm and a length of 200cm while the larger one has a width of 160cm and a length of 250cm. They both have a depth of 3cm. The rug is available in a selection of colours.
