157 Suspension Lamp

The 157 Suspension Lamp has been created by Andreas Hansen for the brand Le Klint. A fine example of classic Danish design, the 157 Lamp first appeared in 1965. Crafted by Hansen to resemble the head of a beautiful flower, the pendant is noted for extremely low glare levels, creating a restful atmosphere wherever it is used.

The diffuser of the 157 Suspension Lamp is immediately attention-grabbing, with its folded surface and polygonal form. This diffuser has been created from cleverly manipulated translucent PVC, and it allows light to escape without generating excessive glare at any stage. The surface has a pure white finish, completing the delicate floral appearance, and a 300cm long cable is included which can be adjusted to hang at varying heights.

The 157 Suspension Lamp comes in a range of sizes. The smallest model has a 30cm diameter and is 23cm high. The medium sized version measures 36cm in diameter and is 27cm high, while the largest model has a 44cm diameter and a height of 33cm.
