The two own a Stockholm-based design studio called Front. Front conducted research into sleeping creatures and came to the conclusion that people and animals share similarities. This is mainly seen in sleeping creatures as they exude a feeling of deep contentment, similar to sleeping humans. The discovery led to the creation of the line of products in the Resting Animals collection for the label Vitra.
