The Alessi Pepper Caster 5076 was created by Ettore Sottsass for Italian design company Alessi.
Alessi carved a name in the design industry by becomming one of the first producers of so-called 'designer' kettles, toothbrushes and kitchenware. The company has collaborated with leading architects such as Wiel Arets and Zaha Hadid.
The Alessi Pepper Caster 5076 is the work of the famous designer and architect Ettore Sottsass, who was known for his talent across many design disciplines, creating furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting and office machines. His work is said to be an inspiration to many modern designers, and his Telefono Enorme is part of the MOMA Collection.
The Alessi Pepper Caster 5076 has a crystal glass body with a stainless steel shaker lid. It has a classic and simple shape that will stand the test of time, meaning this pepper shaker will look good for many years. It works best when paired with the matching salt shaker from the same collection, and is at home in both contemporary and traditional dining rooms. It has a height of 10cm, a diameter of 3.5cm and it has a capacity of 0.4l.
