The elegant Firenze Wall Clock was designed by Pier and Achille Castiglioni for furniture label Alessi.
Famed designer brothers Pier and Achille Casstiglioni were born in Milan and worked together throughout their lives as designers and architects. After graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1938, the brothers founded a small architecture firm in Milan specialising in interior, object and furniture design. The brothers were at the forefront of the Italian design renaissance of the 1950s and 60s, creating technically innovative and aesthetically beautiful designs. Some of their most famous pieces include the Caccia Cutlery Set and Fimi-Phonola 547 Radio.
The boldly stylish Firenze Wall Clock has a stylish design, with large, easy to read roman numeral numbering and a tapered, arrow-style hour hand. This elegant time piece has a traditional circular shape and broad diameter of 36cm, making it suitable for use in large hallways and living rooms. Constructed in lightweight and durable ABS plastic, the clock is easy to keep clean and can be hung in any room, including kitchens and bathrooms. This is a clock with universal appeal that can be used with any style of décor and is available in a variety of colour options that complement any environment.
