Kaari REB005 Desk Black Oak

The Kaari REB005 Desk Black Oak was designed by Ronan Bouroullec and Erwan Bouroullec for the brand Artek .

Artek was founded in 1935 by four radical young designers who were determined to keep pushing the boundaries, innovate with materials and stay up to date with cutting edge technology. Their commitment remains intact in their factory in Helsinki. The Bouroullec brothers design from their factory in Paris, have a similarly experimental approach, and have turned their hand to projects ranging from jewellery to industrial design.

The desktop of the Kaari REB005 Desk Black Oak   is made of solid oak covered in black linoleum, thereby combining a classic and a modern approach. Two solid black-lacquered oak legs form the rear support of the desk. The rest of the Kaari REB005 Desk Black Oak's support is provided by a bent steel framework - as is the case with all of the Kaari designs. The steel is powder-coated black to complete a sleek, classic, contemporary piece that is designed to be at home in either a professional or a personal space. The Kaari REB005 Desk Black Oak is 150cm wide, 65cm deep and 75cm high. The desk requires assembly.
