Cycnus Wall Lamp

The Cycnus Wall Lamp was created in-house for the brand AYTM. Founded in 2004, AYTM starts with the elements of classic Nordic design and reproduces them in exquisitely elegant ways. Every piece of the brand's furniture or lighting is designed to make an immediate impact on its surroundings. The Cycnus Wall Lamp is part of the brand's Cycnus range. In Greek mythology, Cycnus was a king who was transformed into a swan and it is the magnificent swan that inspires every light in the range.

The sweeping silhouette of the Cycnus Wall Lamp recreates the open wings of a swan taking off for flight while allowing light to sweep out from around it, casting interesting shadows on the wall. The wall lamp can be arranged individually or in groups and it complements the table, suspension and floor lamps in the Cycnus range. The disc of the shade is made from porcelain in two colourways while the central fixture and the fittings are made from powder-coated aluminium in a brass-coloured finish. The lamp has an E27 socket for which bulbs can be bought as and when required. The Cycnus Wall Lamp is 14cm in height and has a diameter of 30cm.
