The Woopy Bar Stool was created by Karim Rashid for the B-Line label. Artfully sculpted from a single piece of polyethylene plastic, the stool will be an attractive addition to contemporary living room designs and also has a 1970s retro-feel.

Over the years, he has accumulated an impressive hoard of prizes including Red Dot Awards and the IDSA Industrial Design Excellence award, and he has always sought to make high-quality design accessible to a wider audience.

The Woopy Bar Stool is a great example of Rashid's ability to translate elite design into affordable household items. Elegantly composed from white plastic, the stool measures 76.3 x 85.2 x 64 cm and has a seat height of 44.5cm. Underneath the seat, Rashid has added a slender metal footrail, making the stool as comfortable as possible to use, and there are well-placed armrests as well.
