Fronzoni '64 Table

The timeless Fronzoni '64 Table was designed by famous designer AG Fronzoni for the popular furniture manufacturer Cappellini.

Angelo Giuseppe or 'AG' Fronzoni was a renowned Italian graphic designer, architect, publisher and industrial designer. He opened his own studio in Brescia, Italy in 1945 and worked in a wide variety of disciplines, including exhibition design, architecture, graphic design and publishing. Some of his iconic designs include the Fronzoni '64 Table and the minimalist Quadra Lamp of 1963. Toward the latter stage of his career, he founded a school in Milan and ran a workshop school between 1982 and 2001.

The Fronzoni '64 Table is an iconic furniture piece with a minimalist, innovative form. The frame of the table is constructed in rectangular metal pipes for outstanding durability and strength. Due to the innovative use of materials, the table has an exceptionally long 200cm table top without the need for central support legs. At 100cm wide and 70cm high, the table provides a generous table top area ideal for a wide variety of activities including reading, writing and dining. With a durable metal and wood construction and weighing 52kg, the table has a pleasantly sturdy feel and resists slippage.
