475 Boboli Dining Table

The 475 Boboli Dining Table has been created by Rodolfo Dordoni for the brand Cassina. Boboli combines virtuouso sculpture with meticulous design. The result is a table which captures the intrigue and magic of Florence's Boboli Gardens, which provided inspiration for the project. Luxurious, visually sublime and highly functional, it will make gourmet meals taste even more appealing.

The 475 Boboli Dining Table starts at the base. This is comprised of spiral-shaped columns which have been made from chrome steel. Their glinting surface creates a play of reflections and textures as they rise, and make a fine counterpoint to the oval tabletop. This main surface is made from either Canaletto glass or walnut wood. Various colour schemes are available, including dark anthracite, petroleum green or American walnut.

The 475 Boboli Dining Table comes in a number of sizes. Two measure 120cm wide and have a height of 73cm. These models have lengths of 240cm and 280cm respectively, and there is also a circular model with a diameter of 140cm. Designed to summon up images of twisting foliage in decadent Renaissance gardens, Boboli mixes exceptional contemporary design with artistic inspiration. It will be a fine setting for culinary masterpieces and convivial social occasions.
