Rodolfo Dordoni, Architect and designer, was born in Milan, Italy in 1954. He graduated in architecture from Milan's Polytecnic in 1979.
After being responsible for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (1979-1989), Fontana Arte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (since 1998) and Roda (since 2006) he creates today for various companies including Artemide, Cassina, Dornbracht, Driade, Flos, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Jab, Minotti, Molteni, Moroso, Serralunga.
In January 2005 Rodolfo Dordoni founded Dordoni Architetti together with the architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, who have all collaborated for many years.
The studio activity focuses on both architectural planning and interior design, designing private houses and villas in Italy and abroad, industrial areas, stores (for instance Dordoni Architetti designs D&G boutiques for Dolce&Gabbana worldwide, from the concept definition to its application in every single store), showrooms, offices, restaurants, hotels, as well as many exhibit stands for diverse companies in different fields.
