The late Eileen Grey is considered a pioneer in modernist furniture design and today, this manufacturer produces many of Grey's creations, including her famous Day Bed, originally designed in 1925.

The Day Bed Grand Black Version Lounge is a truly modernist imagining of the classic chaise lounge. This 'Grand' version has been increased in size from Grey's original design, with a 200 x 90 cm mattress. Suitable for both sitting and reclining, as well as being easily used as a bed when needed, this versatile piece of furniture is ideal for busy homes. The clean lines of the divan style design include a fabric-covered base and loose mattress upper. It has been entirely upholstered in a soft but durable polyester with squared stitching on the top of the mattress for a truly modern look. The sofa also features a tubular metal base and side frame in powder-coated steel as well as practical black gliders.
