Screw Table L

The Screw Table L has been created by Eero Aarnio for the brand Eero Aarnio Originals. It has an ingenious design that takes a familiar household item that is commonly used to join furniture and gives it a brand-new use. It is a brilliant representation of industrial design.

The Screw Table L is an exact replica of the screw that originally inspired the designer but scaled up to a large table. This includes the divide in the middle where the screwdriver fits in order to tighten or loosen the screw. The round, rimmed tabletop fills out below to form a convex shape. It then narrows down into a stem that is smooth at the top with the typical ridges that go down to the bottom. The table is made of strong and durable fibreglass. It is finished with a gel coating which gives it a high-sheen look.

The Screw Table L has a height of 105cm and a diameter of 65cm. It is available in neutral colours that work with any existing decor or design theme. The fibreglass it is made of makes it suitable for use both indoors and outdoors.
