Ripple Wine Carafe

The Ripple Wine Carafe has been created by ferm LIVING for the brand ferm LIVING. A beautiful piece, it will elevate the experience of pouring wines for friends around the dinner table.

The 1920s-style Ripple Wine Carafe is made of fine, light glass. It has a round opening and a long neck which are both smooth. The fluting begins beneath the neck where the carafe fans outwards with the lines running in the same direction. This section ends with a ring that goes all around the carafe. From here, it takes a rounded shape that extends downwards and ends with a round base. Its unique shape has been attained using glass mouth-blowing techniques. The glass is placed in a mould liquid form then blown and expanded into shape by mouth. When it dries, it takes the shape of the mould. Apart from the aesthetics, its shape optimises the aeration of the wine stored in it.

The Ripple Wine Carafe has a height of 17.5cm and a diameter of 1.1 litres. It comes in clear and tinted glass. Coordinated wine glasses are available to give a uniform feel to your wine tasting experience.
