Foglio Wall Lamp

The Foglio Wall Lamp has been created by Tobia Scarpa for the brand Flos. Its beauty is in its simplicity. This lamp is essentially a single piece of curved metal. It is the detailing that makes it a design that stands out. Designed in 1966, it has remained relevant and is still sought out today because of its timeless style.

The Foglio Wall Lamp is made of pressed steel. It has edges that are turned inward on either side with a small gap in between them. The same elegant curve is on the line at the back. The outer side of the lamp is finished with neutral or metallic shades that are glossy or matte while the inside of it is white. The bent steel conceals a diffuser finished with polishing. It casts both direct and indirect light that is partially diffused. The lamp is mounted onto the wall with a pair of injection moulded lamp holder supports. They are hidden at the back of the lamp so it appears to levitate on the wall.

The Foglio Wall Lamp has a width of 37cm, a height of 21cm and a depth of 9.7cm. It is compatible with an E27 socket and uses two bulbs that have to be purchased separately.
