Equatore LED Floor Lamp S

The Equatore LED Floor Lamp S has been created by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for the brand Fontana Arte. The design duo is made up of architect and professor Gabriele and architect Oscar. The Equatore LED Floor Lamp S that won them the Archiproduct Design Award in the 2017 exemplifies their abilities. This floor lamp that stands tall and elegant is a recreation of classic lamps with glass shades but has one defining distinction. While such lamps typically have the shade so that it conceals the light source within it, this floor lamp doesn't. Rather, it has a pair of luminous discs in a central metallic band that is visible on the shade, adding interest and intrigue. Layering of the internal screen produces light that is distributed across the discs with the effect that they seem to illuminate magically. The disc at the bottom casts light downwards while the one at the top illuminates the glass with a soft, diffused light.

The Equatore LED Floor Lamp S is available in two sizes. The smaller one has a height of 135cm and a diameter of 23.8cm. They come in a sleek glossy copper or nickel finish.
