Pinecone Table Lamp

The Pinecone Table Lamp has been created by Paola Navone for the brand Fontana Arte. As the name suggests, this lamp has been crafted to resemble the honeycomb form of pinecones, resulting in a playful and attractive addition to surfaces around the home.

The structure of the Pinecone Table Lamp has been created via a complex glass blowing process which forms glass surfaces inside cages. This gives the impression that the glass is seeking to 'escape' the cage, creating a pure look which integrates the different elements and enhances the natural appearance that Navone was aiming for. The glass has a delicate opal finish to mute the light produced, while the frame is made from intricately arranged stainless steel. And the outcome is exquisite.

The Pinecone Table Lamp comes in two sizes: a model with a diameter of 50cm and a height of 50.5cm and a smaller version measuring 36cm high with a 30cm diameter. A dimmer is included on the power cable, while the pinecone diffuser is secured by a slim circular base that can hardly be seen. The larger version uses two bulbs, while the smaller requires a single bulb. The appropriate bulbs with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
