Product description

The Volée LED Desk Lamp was developed by Odo Fioravanti for the manufacturer Fontana Arte.

First established in 1932, this Milanese company has a long back catalogue of iconic designs, many of which are still in production, having stood the test of time. As well as running his own studio, Odo Fioravanti works as a journalist and academic, teaching at many universities across Italy. He was the subject of an exhibition at the 2010 Milan Triennale, and in 2011, he received a Compasso d'Oro award.

Stylish and functional, the Volée LED Desk Lamp combines streamlined looks with a number of high-tech features. Made from aluminium with a matte finish, the head, arm and base are all slim, elegant and smoothly curved. Supporting wires allow the arm to swivel with an effortless motion. A motion sensor under the head means that the light can be switched on and off with a casual swipe of the hand, while another sensor on top of the head allows for 4 dimmer settings. Measuring 61cm in height, 11cm in width and 59cm in length, the Volée LED Desk Lamp is sure to earn a place on even the most meticulously organized of executive desks.

Miscellaneous	A simple hand movement under the light head activates an electronics that allows the light -contact on and off. A sensor on the top surface of the light head enables the light intensity control in four steps 0 %, 40 %, 60 %, 100 % . The built-in automatic switch-off switches off the light after 5 hours. A simple hand movement under the light head reactivated the lamp on the brightness level last set. The black lead is equipped with a power supply with universal adapter.
