Product description

The Lightweight Stool has been created by Herman Studio for the brand Form & Refine. The designers aspired to create a piece that gave a nod to traditional carpentry. While certain features such as the joints can be considered classic there are also modern touches that bring the stool into the present day. The end result is a timeless, versatile piece.

The Lightweight Stool is a Sustainable Choice product. This is thanks to the FSC-certified European oak it is made from. The top of the stool consists of narrow slats that have been arranged with spaces in between them. The ends have larger blocks of wood which support the slats. There are also support bars underneath them. Below, the stool has a frame made of legs that are finished to match. They have been joined together at an angle which makes them look like they have been split along their length.

The Lightweight Stool has a width of 40cm, a height of 45cm and a depth of 29.5cm. It is available in a natural finish or with a white pigmented one that is finished with a protective and conditioning coat of oil. It is also available in a dark stain. The stool can be used in a living room as a side table or as a bedside table.
