01 Easy Chair

The 01 Easy Chair has been created by Frama for the brand Frama. Its design is a play of shapes, all used to create a chair with a relaxed, lounge look and feel.

The 01 Easy Chair is made of birch. It has a low backrest that is made of straight, crisp lines. It is reclined backwards for more comfortable seating. Its generously sized, square seat is slightly upturned on the inner edge. It is a detail that makes you sit back and relax in it just like an easy chair should. The neat joinery like the mortise and tenon on the legs and the double joints on the backrest add aesthetic details to the minimalistic design. The wedge-shaped back legs are another feature. The legs have bars running across them which form footrests.

The 01 Easy Chair has a width of 60cm, a height of 72cm and a depth of 60.5cm. Its seat height is 35cm and its backrest height is 72cm. The birch wood it is made of is finished with oiling. After some time, it will gain a natural patina. If this is not desired you can oil the piece regularly.
