Rivet Wall Shelf

The Rivet Wall Shelf has been created by Jonas Trampedach for the brand Frama. Rivet is a collection of storage products which use sculptural motifs to bridge the gap between modernist art and everyday furnishings. In this case, visionary designer Jonas Trampedach has crafted a subtle, compact shelving unit with pure geometric lines which makes fine use of anodised aluminium.

The Rivet Wall Shelf features three compartments, including two smaller side spaces and a larger space at the centre. These compartments are divided by slim sheets of aluminium, while they fit into a right-angled bracket which is fixed to the wall. But this is no ordinary bathroom or bedroom shelf. Trampedach has used anodised aluminium which ages naturally via a process called patination. Each shelf will therefore be slightly different, with its own unique patterns.

The Rivet Wall Shelf comes in two sizes. The smaller model measures 87.6cm, 24.4cm wide and 20.6cm high, while the larger model is 119cm long with the same height and width. They can be used alone as a handy surface to store toiletries or accessories. However, they will also be highly effective when used in conjunction with other Rivet shelving, creating customised and aesthetically impressive storage setups.
