Tasca Table

The Tasca Side Table has been created by Pedro Sottomayor for the brand Frama. The Portuguese word Tasca describes the local taverns found in the country. The design of the piece represents the laid-back, welcoming feel of these establishments.

The Tasca Side Table is made of lightweight and durable aluminium. It is finished with brushing which has been done by hand giving it a distinct pattern. It has a round top that is supported by a pillar-shaped stem. The stem is also made of aluminium that is finished to match the seat. It is steadied on the floor by three prongs. There are two on one side and a single on the other which forms a Y shape. The stool can be used outdoors as well as indoors.

The Tasca Side Table has a height of 75.5cm and a diameter of 58cm. Over time, it will gain a patina. However, it will not rust or show any other type of damage. This side table and other pieces in the Tasca Collection are not only functional but also representative of Portugal's history and culture. It is made in one of the country's oldest metal furniture factories.
