Lyss Wall Lamp

The Lyss Wall Lamp was designed in-house for the brand Frandsen.

Based in Copenhagen, Frandsen may well be Scandinavia's premier lighting design label, being responsible for the extremely popular Ball Wall Lamp as well as many other modern masterpieces. Lyss is a fitting successor to those creations. Modest, functional and keeping excess to a minimum, it nevertheless offers plenty of style, and offers an excellent addition to contemporary interiors, whether in homes or offices.

The Lyss Wall Lamp is relatively compact, measuring 18 x 42 cm, so users can slot it into almost any room. It attaches firmly to interior walls via a round base which connects to a 300cm cable and an easy to use on/off switch. The diffuser is simple but effective, with its fluted design, while the lamp comes in a range of appealing but never over-the-top colours. Casting an insistent light downwards, the shade can be pivoted at will and needs a E27 bulb. Its looks and features make the Lyss Wall Lamp a laid-back, stripped down gem, and a product that suits almost any space.
