N02™ Recycle Swivel Chair

The N02 Recycle Swivel Chair was designed by Studio Nendo for the brand Fritz Hansen.

Based in Japan, Nendo take their name from the Japanese word for clay modelling, and this is reflected in the sculptural simplicity of their pieces, which have won the Wallpaper and Red Dot awards.

As kind to the environment as it is pleasing to the eye, the N02 Recycle Swivel Chair has a seat made from 100% recycled polypropylene, and the polished aluminium base is 95% recycled. All of the materials for upcycling were sourced near the production factory in Central Europe, again helping the environment by lessening the amount of transport involved. When, a long time in the future, the chair reaches the end of its working life, it can be recycled again. While it speaks to the green agenda, the N02 Recycle Swivel Chair is also a practical purchase with a range of functional features. The back height adjusts from 77 to 90 cm, and the seat height between 42 and 55 cm, and the chair has slim, curled edges for comfort.
