The quietly elegant Brick 244 Side Table was designed by iconic designer Paola Navone for popular furniture manufacturers Gervasoni.
Navone graduted from the Turin Politecnico in 1973 and worked alongside several iconic names in the Italian progressive design scene in the 1970s and 1980s, including Ettore Sottsass Jr and Alessandro Mendini. In 1983, Navone was awarded with the Osaka International Design Award. She has held many roles during her prestigious career, including architect, teacher, interior designer and art critic. Navone considers herself to be a citizen of the world, having travelled at length around the globe.
The simply elegant Brick 244 Side Table has a monotone style and traditional shape reminiscent of a maid's milking stool. The side table is 64cm tall, 53cm wide and 54cm long, providing a compact space to store drinks and books or rest a plate of snacks while you sit on the sofa. The durable oak construction is varnished, providing stain resistance and easy maintenance. Thanks to the neutral colour palette and unobtrusive silhouette, the side table works in harmony with any environment and all styles of décor, whether placed next to a sofa in the home living room or displaying books in a workplace.
