Product description

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Lacquered Oak has been created by Hee Welling for the brand HAY. It is classified in the category of Sustainable Choice products. This is because it is made of recycled materials and FSC-certified wood.

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Lacquered Oak has a shell made of 100% recycled polypropylene. Its light weight, strength and durability make this engineered plastic ideal for various applications including making furniture. The shell is a singular piece which is made through a manufacturing process known as injection moulding. It has a wide backrest that has a curved upper edge that dips downwards to form high armrests. The gentle curves extend towards the well-sized seat that completes the circle. The shell is supported by a base made of lacquered oak. It is made of bar-shaped legs that are outspread. Apart from adding visual interest, the angled legs enhance the chair's strength and stability. Additional bars underneath the seat serve the same purpose.

The About a Chair AAC 22 2.0 Armchair Lacquered Oak has a width of 59cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 52cm. Its seat height is 46cm. It comes in a variety of colours including neutrals, pastels and bright colours. Seat pads are available for purchase separately.
