The Apollo Lamp with Battery has been created by STUDIO 0405 for the brand HAY. Danish designers STUDIO 0405 use uncommon materials and production methods to achieve unique results. That originality is easy to see with the Apollo Lamp with Battery.

This portable, free-standing lamp has been crafted by hand using a single piece of opal glass. The form of the lamp is a re-interpretation of classic lamps, featuring a round shade that dips in the middle to form a convex shape and a slightly rounded column-shaped base. The unified style of the piece and its playful curves gives it a clean, sleek silhouette, while the light source and rechargeable battery are concealed within the shade. When it is turned on, the lamp casts a warm, glowing light in all directions and it can be dimmed via a built-in touch step dimmer switch on the base of the lamp with three different brightness settings. The lamp also features a battery charged via USB that can keep going for 10 hours when fully charged.

The Apollo Lamp with Battery has a height of 22cm and a diameter of 12.5cm, with a weight of 0.9kg. It is available in a refined, pure white tone.
