Product description

The Balcony Outdoor Chair has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. The French Bouroullec brothers take an experimental approach to design, resulting in pieces that are simple, elegant and endlessly fascinating. The Balcony Outdoor Chair is a great example of their approach to design.

Made of robust steel with a with powder coated finish, the Balcony Chair features an outdoor primer that ensures it can withstand the most extreme weather. The form of the chair features a play of contrasting shapes. The square profile is accompanied by round cut-outs on the backrest and seat. These round cut-outs serve to drain rainwater out of the chair so that it does not pool around the seat, while also serving as a visual accent. The shell is attached to a four-legged base made of narrow bars.

The Balcony Outdoor Chair has a width of 44.5cm, a height of 79cm and a depth of 51.5cm, with a seat height of 46cm. It is available in dark forest and anthracite tones and weighs 5.8kg. The chair can be left outdoors throughout the year without getting damaged, and a matching table by the same designers is available from the same brand.
