Petit Standard Chair stained

The Petit Standard Chair stained has been created by Daniel Rybakken for the brand HAY. Petit is a chair that is defined by simplicity and clarity. Rybakken has used stark lines and surprising angles to create a variation on classic chairs with a refined sense of style. It will work beautifully at dining tables or anywhere around the home.

The Petit Standard Chair stained has some subtle details that aren't immediately apparent but make the chair exceptional. For example, the four-legged frame has been constructed from aluminium using a die casting process. This means that the various tubes are not visibly joined, creating a flowing aesthetic. Rybakken has also added two side struts which run down the chair back, adding extra resilience and creating an intriguing triangular shape when viewed from the side.

The Petit Standard Chair stained has a height of 83cm and a seat height of 47cm, while the seat measures 52.5cm wide and 50cm deep. The seat dips towards the back and curls over at the front, and is made from stained oak veneer. Black and ultra navy blue colour schemes are available to choose, and the Petit Chair has also been designed to stack safely, making storage simple.
