The Pouffe was designed in-house for the brand Hay.

Hay was set up by husband and wife team Roy and Mette in 2006 to create affordable furniture for the home, using quality materials but keeping costs affordable. Since their launch, they've followed this ethic faithfully by working with modern, cutting edge designers and creating their own range of furniture and soft furnishings, thereby becoming one of Scandinavia's leading furniture brands.

The simply named Pouffe is part of a range of own brand items. Shaped as a cube, it measures 51cm in length and width, and has a height of 40cm. The slightly curved seams and pointed corners help to keep the Pouffe in shape and give it a fun, tactile vibe. The coverings available feature a hard wearing man-made fabric and a softer cotton/linen mix fabric. The stuffing that generously fills the Pouffe is also man-made. When covered in harder wearing fabric, it is ideal for use as a footrest in a living room. One of these handy items would also work well in a child's bedroom as a small seat, but several would be great for recreational play .
