Luzy on the Wall LED Wall Lamp

The Luzy on the Wall LED Wall Lamp has been created by Ingo Maurer for the brand Ingo Maurer. Maurer is a leading German designer who specialises in designs that venture outside normal constraints. In this case, he has based a wall lamp design around the form of a rubber glove - and it works beautifully.

The Luzy on the Wall LED Wall Lamp features a glove motif attached to a series of 5 bulbs located at the fingertips, which cast a bright light in all directions. The glove is attached to the wall via a simple nail, completing a daring reinterpretation of standard lighting designs. Maurer has used plastic to mould the glove shape and each product has been hand painted in blue. Metallic connectors are placed on the fingers, enabling light sources to stay in place.

The Luzy on the Wall LED Wall Lamp measures 50cm high and is 30cm wide, while it also comes with a 250cm long cable to enable flexible placement. It comes with a built-in transformer and toggle switch, and is also compatible with external dimmers if desired. The lamp has 5 built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
