The Invisible Table was created by Japanese artist and designer Tokujin Yoshioka for the Italian company Kartell.
The Invisible Table was made using an industrial cast in a single form and impresses with its minimalism and elegance. Thanks to the innovative production techniques, the table's stability, lightness and ease of use combine harmoniously to create a subtle, attractive design highlight that is truly in a class of its own. The larger version of the table is perfectly suited for use as a dining table or a desk.
The square-shaped table is made, depending on the version, of transparent or coloured plastic PMMA and is 72cm in height, 100cm in width and 100cm in depth. The table is also relatively light for a piece of its size, weighing 18 kg, and can therefore be relocated with ease. It is also available in two other sizes, perfect for use as a side table and coffee table.
The Invisible Table from Kartell was awarded the Good Design Award in 2012 and received the highly acclaimed Best of the Best Red Dot Award for Product Design in 2013.
