The Kartell by Laufen Sound-Rack Shelf has been created by Roberto and Ludovica Palomba for the brand Kartell. It is a versatile piece that can be used in different spaces for many different purposes. It is also stackable making it even more flexible.

The Kartell by Laufen Sound-Rack Shelf is made of clear or batch-dyed polymethyl methacrylate 'PMMA'. This is a light, strong and hardwearing type of plastic that is commonly used for industrial applications. The unit has two sides. One has a pair of long open shelves and another has three shorter ones. There is a sheet over the back which ensures items placed on the shelves do not fall behind. The unit can be stacked to assemble a storage unit that fits your purpose. It can be used as it is to provide storage on a bathroom counter or it can be stacked to provide additional space for towels and toiletries. In a bedroom, it can be placed on a dresser to hold skin care products, perfumes and jewellery.

The Kartell by Laufen Sound-Rack Shelf has a width of 75cm, a height of 53cm and a depth of 26cm. It is available in clear/transparent as well as in bright or neutral colours.
