Regarded as one of the founding fathers of modern Italian design, he is celebrated and remembered for his contemporary sculptural, architectural furniture, fixtures and accessories. The Maui Chair Frame Black Lacquered Tubular Steel demonstrates his skills and abilities. This timeless, minimalist chair has a backrest and seat that is one unified piece, giving it a clean, uncluttered silhouette. The piece is made of polypropylene. The chair sits on a frame fashioned from steel tubes that are finished with black lacquer. The chair's legs are angled outwards rather than straight, giving it more stability. It also makes it possible to stack the chairs up to eight high.
