The Dala LED Ceiling Lamp Copper has been created by Francesca Smiraglia for the brand Kdln. Italian lighting and industrial designer Smiraglia designs products that explore and enhance the connection between people and their living and working space. She aspires to create a connection with pieces that are visually attractive, durable and optimally functional. Her abilities and approach are clear to see in the Dala LED Ceiling Lamp Copper. Before it is turned on, the lamp could pass for an attractive wall decoration. It has a diffuser with the unexpected detail of being shaped into a shade that has two overlapping parts. The two parts are coated with metal and each have a different colour, which creates a stunning contrast when the lamp is turned on. The diffuser inside the shade is made of roto-moulded polyethylene. The lamp casts a diffused, evenly distributed light that can be controlled via an external phase dimmer.

The Dala LED Ceiling Lamp Copper has a diameter of 58cm and a height of 11cm. With its low profile, it can be installed on high as well as low ceilings. The luminaire has built-in LED light sources that cannot be replaced.
