The 1966-42 Richard Schultz Sun Lounger was designed by Richard Schultz for the manufacturer Knoll International.

The sun lounger was designed in 1966 for Florence Knoll, who was living near the ocean and wanted outdoor furniture that would withstand the elements. The fact that this sun lounger has been adorning pool areas and gardens for over 50 years is testament to the continued appeal of this timeless piece.

The lounger's frame is made of aluminium and is finished with weather-resistant polyester powder coating. The upholstery is woven, vinyl-coated polyester mesh, which is waterproof and resistant to UV rays, rendering the 1966-42 Richard Schultz Sun Lounger ideal in outdoor settings.
